Oxidative Stress Core
The Oxidative Stress Core determines the role of oxidative stress in the health effects of exposure to airborne pollutants generated during the thermal processing of organic wastes. It supports the non-biomedical and biomedical projects investigators in identifying the role of radical-particle systems in generating reactive oxygen species and inducing oxidative stress. Core scientists adapt to the changing needs of the projects and develop new techniques as necessary.
